Kazakhstan Shows Interest in Domestic "Oktava" Microphones and Radio Systems

Electroacoustic Manufacturer Receives Inquiries from Major Venues in Almaty and Astana

Tula's "Oktava DM" (a technological partner of Rostec) is entering the Kazakhstan market. The company has agreed to cooperate with "Samat Show", which will become the official distributor of products in the republic, "Perviy Technicheskiy" was told at "Oktava".

The professional line of "Oktava" aroused particular interest in Kazakhstan: digital radio systems, hanging and instrument microphones, studio equipment. Major state venues, including the Palace of the Republic and the Abay Opera and Ballet Theater, expressed interest in cooperation. Agreements have also been reached with recording studios, IT integrators and educational institutions. Following the trip, an agreement was signed with one of the partners and the terms of the contract for the supply of industrial microphones were agreed.

"Oktava" is one of the oldest Russian manufacturers of electroacoustics, founded in Tula in 1927. It was into the "Oktava" microphone that Yuri Gagarin said the legendary "Let's go!". Today, the company produces not only professional sound equipment, but also personal protective equipment - the "Obereg" line of bulletproof vests includes modifications for combined arms units, sappers, covert carrying and cash collectors. According to Rostec, the "Obereg" bulletproof vest has repeatedly saved lives of military personnel.
