The agricultural enterprise "Magma KhD" from Mordovia conducted month-long trials of the new K5-generation KamAZ-6595 dump truck under real-world conditions. The truck hauled chalk and sand from a quarry in the Chamzinsky District. Three experienced drivers took part in the testing: two of them had previously driven leading foreign trucks, while the third had operated a classic KamAZ-6520. Each worked on the new vehicle for a week.
The conclusion was unequivocal: according to the drivers, the KamAZ-6595 surpasses imported counterparts. They especially noted the smooth ride and cabin comfort, which are critically important under an intensive work schedule.
We approached the test with maximum rigor to eliminate subjectivity. The result is unequivocal: the new-generation KAMAZ-6595 dump truck is an entirely new level. In terms of the overall set of characteristics - comfort, suspension softness, and engine pulling power - this KAMAZ surpassed the foreign competitors in our fleet. The vehicle is an effective solution for the agro-industrial sector.
The KamAZ-6595 is designed for transporting bulk cargo, but it can also serve as a platform for special-purpose equipment. The cabin is mounted on a four-point spring suspension; inside there is multimedia with a 10-inch touchscreen display and a multifunction steering wheel. The engine is a modern KamAZ R6 rated at 482 horsepower, and the transmission is a 16-speed manual. The frame and axles are reinforced (axle load capacity is 16 tons). The body has a volume of 20 cubic meters and is heated by exhaust gases. Payload capacity is 25 tons.
