The company "RUF-2" presented a vegetable transfer trailer for universal semi-trailers. The device is mounted in place of the rear gate in a matter of minutes and turns a standard semi-trailer into a transfer unit that receives crops from harvesters, transports them, and reloads them into dump trucks. According to test results, sugar beet harvesting productivity increased by one and a half to two times.
The transfer trailer was developed for the Altai Agro semi-trailer, holds from 25 to 40 tons of cargo, and is fully manufactured in Russia.
The transfer trailer is mounted instead of the rear gate in minutes, without complex tools. It can be equipped with a video camera and lighting for night work.
After harvesting, the semi-trailer can be easily re-equipped: into a grain buffer hopper, a fertilizer spreader, or a seed drill loader. Tests were conducted in Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, Voronezh Region, and Lipetsk Region. Participants noted the high harvesting speed and ease of use.
The company "RUF-2" has been operating since 2002. Today it has completely replaced the lineup of imported counterparts in the territory of the Customs Union. A patent for the transfer trailer is currently being processed.
