Interest in landline phones has increased sharply in Russia. People are again applying for home phone connections. Rostelecom directly compared such a phone to a fire extinguisher: it may not be needed every day, but it should be in the house. This was stated by the company's president, Mikhail Oseevsky.
According to Oseevsky, the company is recording a noticeable increase in requests for the installation of a landline phone. The head of Rostelecom explained this by the fact that people again saw in such communication a reliable and high-quality way of communication.
