Su-24 bombers destroyed mock enemy ships in the Baltic

Crews of tactical front-line Su-24 bombers conducted training firing at targets simulating surface ships of the enemy in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.

The pilots also used cannon armament, hitting targets at a ground range. Mock-ups of armored vehicles of a mock enemy were used as targets.

Pilots of Mi-8 helicopters of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation patrolled and detected "enemy" unmanned boats (BECs). Then they chose advantageous positions for firing from large-caliber machine guns at surface targets.

In addition, the helicopter crews practiced extinguishing a natural fire. Mi-8s dropped more than 50 tons of water on the fires.
