The Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Engineering (TsKBA) and the Central Research Institute of Automation and Hydraulics (TsNIIAG), which are part of Rostec's High-Precision Systems holding, received awards following the results of the Archimedes-2026 International Salon.
TsKBA was recognized as the winner with the project "Airspace control system based on a radar station for surveying the airspace of the near zone." TsNIIAG became a silver medalist for the development of the "Passenger Telescopic Boarding Bridge."
This year, 254 organizations from 30 regions of Russia and 25 foreign countries participated in the salon. A total of 508 innovative projects and inventions were presented.
The short-range radar from TsKBA combines data from 24 locators at one workstation, uses neural networks to detect ultra-small targets at low altitudes, and is already used in border regions. The passenger boarding bridge from TsNIIAG is the first fully Russian "sleeve" for airports: it is equipped with electro-hydraulic drives, compatible with any type of aircraft, and is undergoing testing this year.
