Aircraft engine repairs are accelerating: UEC is building a center with laser technologies

"UEC-Service" is increasing production capacity

Last year, "UEC-Service" increased the volume of gas turbine engine repairs. To further increase productivity, the company plans to put into operation a new industrial center with modern domestic equipment by the end of 2026. This will expand the range of repair work.

In total, several hundred aircraft engines were repaired in 2025, which exceeded the figures of previous years. The positive trend is associated with an increase in production capacity and an expansion of the range of serviced power plants.

Expanding the range of repaired products and building a new production center is an investment in our ability to respond to the challenges of the growing market and the needs of customers. The new complex will allow the company to start large-scale work on the restoration of gas turbine engine parts using modern technologies.
Dmitry Vinogradov, General Director of "UEC-Service"

In parallel with the implementation of current tasks, the company is developing industrial infrastructure. The construction of a three-story center for the restoration of parts and assemblies of aircraft engines with a total area of more than 6 thousand square meters is underway.

Most of the equipment for the new center has already been delivered to the site, including a laser powder cladding unit designed to repair turbine and compressor blades of several types of engines.
