Little "Solntsepyok": "Roy" flamethrower drone on "Torpedo" started to be used by the military

The ground complex operates remotely

The Russian military has received a new ground robotic complex (GRTK) "Roy", armed with a six-barreled module with "Shmel" rocket flamethrowers. The novelty was built on the "Torpedo" tracked platform.

The complex can strike from a distance of several kilometers. At the same time, the operator himself is outside the affected area.

The key advantage of the development is the ability to fire remotely, destroying heavily fortified enemy positions, while minimizing the threat to our military personnel.
Igor Murog, member of the Academy of Military Sciences

"Roy" has already been tested in combat, showing high efficiency in destroying fortified defensive structures. The complex was developed by engineers of the separate unmanned systems regiment "Burevestnik".

Murog added that good cross-country ability and small dimensions allow "Roy" to be used even among ruins and in difficult terrain.
