The leading Belarusian defense industry enterprise \"140th Repair Plant\" (Borisov) manufactures the tracked firefighting vehicle GPM-72 for extinguishing fires in especially hazardous conditions. This was reported by the press service of the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus.
This is a universal solution that makes it possible to handle Class 4 fires in the complexity category, both in difficult forest terrain and in high-risk areas, including military depots and industrial bases.
There is a crew inside the special vehicle. The specialists are protected thanks to the armored hull of the GPM-72.
This is especially important when extinguishing fires at depots containing fuels and lubricants and ammunition, where there is a high risk of detonation.

- Aquamast up to 6 m high
- Tracked running gear
- High cross-country capability
- Fire pump unit with capacity of up to 2,500 l/min
- Tank capacity — up to 10 tons of water
- Pump output — 4,000 l/min
- Built-in foam mixer
The GPM-72 was developed with the participation of specialists from Pozhsnab. The vehicle can be used to protect strategic facilities.
