The Fasten taxi service from Yandex has started operating in Russia. You can already call a car at a price 10% lower than in Yandex Taxi in more than 300 cities in Russia.
Fasten is a separate service without food delivery and other functions of the Yandex ecosystem that users are already accustomed to. The application only has car ordering. The company emphasizes that Yandex Go remains the main product, and Fasten is launched in parallel for those who primarily need to get from point A to point B at the lowest price.
Six tariffs are available to users — from basic to Business, and there is also a Kids tariff. In Moscow, the minimum cost starts from 170 rubles: it includes 3 minutes and 1 kilometer. Prices are lower in the regions. For example, in Volgograd, the start of the trip is from 72 rubles.
The price, as before, depends on the demand and the number of free cars nearby. The passenger sees the final amount before the start of the trip.
In fact, Fasten is replacing Uber RU. During 2026, users will be gradually transferred to the new application. The brand passed to Yandex after the purchase of assets of the Vezet group.
