JSC "State Airline '224 Flight Unit'" has filed a lawsuit against the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) for 66 million rubles. The case was registered on February 26 in the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region, the date of the first hearing has not yet been set.
In total, the court records contain about 100 entries in which UZGA appears as a defendant.
In most cases, it concerns the recovery of penalties for deliveries from partners and counterparties.
Recall that UZGA is building LMS-901 Baikal and Ladoga light aircraft. It is assumed that both aircraft will be delivered to carriers in 2026. Senator Sergei Muratov hinted at funding problems for Baikal.
Oleg Smirnov, a member of the public council of Rostransnadzor, in an interview with "The First Technical" called for an investigation into where the billions of rubles went for the construction of "Baikal".
