LTZ received certification for servicing TEM and TGMK diesel locomotives

The plant has mastered TR-1 routine repairs. Plans include major overhauls and locomotive modernization using original spare parts

The Lyudinovo Diesel Locomotive Plant (LTZ) has expanded its range of competencies. The enterprise has received a certificate authorizing it to carry out routine repairs of the equipment it produces.

The document confirms the plant's readiness to perform a full cycle of work within the scope of TR-1. The license has been issued for a period of three years. Now the manufacturer is not limited to assembling locomotives, but also takes responsibility for their after-sales service. Repairs are carried out by in-house specialists using original Russian-made spare parts.

The certificate applies to the most in-demand machines produced by LTZ:

  • shunting diesel locomotives TEM9, TEM10, and TEM14;
  • the TGMK2 track machine.

The use of factory components and knowledge of the design make it possible to reduce equipment downtime and ensure stable operation of assemblies.

The plant's management reported that obtaining TR-1 certification is only the first stage. In the near future, the enterprise plans to master major overhauls of all series currently in production.
