Sees Through the Eyes of an Enemy Drone: Novosibirsk Developers Unveiled the "Dronoskop 5.3.1 FPV"

The device is capable of intercepting video signals from FPV drones

In Novosibirsk, a compact device called the "Dronoskop 5.3.1 FPV" has been developed, capable of scanning the entire frequency spectrum to intercept video signals from unmanned aerial vehicles. According to representatives of the manufacturing company OKB "Dronoskop," the device simplifies the task of detecting enemy drones and improves safety in combat.

Our specialists have developed the "Dronoskop 5.3.1 FPV" device for ultra-wideband interception of unmanned aerial vehicles. We developed a special video signal receiver that alone scans all FPV ranges. Similar products use from one to seven Chinese receiving modules, which negatively affects the dimensions, heat generation, and operating time of the products. The device turned out compact, about the size of an 11-inch tablet. The product was fully designed and manufactured in Novosibirsk

As the creators explained, FPV drones transmit video from the camera directly to the operator. Intercepting this stream makes it possible to see the same thing as the drone pilot. This makes it possible to detect the drone, determine the target of the attack, and respond in time — for example, leave a vehicle. The device detects approaching drones at a distance of up to 15–20 kilometers.

In addition, the device helps identify the launch sites of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
