Yakutia received a TM-140 all-terrain vehicle that does not need roads or airfields

The equipment will be sent to assist geologists

Kurganmashzavod shipped the first tracked TM-140 all-terrain vehicle of 2026. The vehicle was delivered to Yakutia for the exploration of mineral deposits.

The snow-and-swamp vehicle was purchased by the Khabarovsk Geological Exploration Enterprise. The TM-140 will be used to deliver cargo to geologists. The vehicle underwent multi-level testing and is equipped with a passenger module, an additional tank, and a winch.

The Vysokotochnye Kompleksy holding noted that the snow-and-swamp vehicles have proven themselves reliable for work in northern regions. The range of the vehicle, with a payload capacity of 4 tons, increases from 550 to 870 km when additional fuel tanks are installed.

Since 2025, Kurganmashzavod has resumed large-scale production of TM-140 tracked amphibious all-terrain vehicles. The current production plan includes 40 vehicles.
