When the strike drone "Molniya-2" enters its dive, the video from the camera disappears for the operators, but for the military this is not a problem. This was reported by the TV channel "Zvezda".
The reason is the high speed during the dive onto the target — up to 200 km/h. However, even without these final seconds, it is already clear that "Molniya-2" has reached its target.
Small FPV quadcopter-type drones still mostly work against small targets. But here we can destroy equipment with a single use.
In addition, the new firmware made it possible to significantly improve the effectiveness of "Molniya-2" combat sorties. Nine drones out of ten successfully reach the target, and the hit rate is above 90%.
"Molniya" drones also received an autopilot module. This mode allows the aircraft to maintain course and complete the mission even when there are attempts to jam communications and employ electronic warfare systems.
