A delegation from the Myanmar Space Agency visited the ground control complex (GCC) of the BELINTERSAT satellite communications system in the village of Stankovo in Belarus. This was reported by the press service of the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus.

The head of the delegation, Mye Than, stated the Myanmar Space Agency's interest in cooperation with Belarus. He familiarized himself with the operation of BELINTERSAT.

The main emphasis was placed on the prospects for using Belarusian satellite technologies in the field of communications and broadcasting in Myanmar.

The foreign guests were shown spacecraft monitoring and control technologies, including hardware and software solutions.

BELINTERSAT is a Belarusian project that became operational in 2016. As part of it, the \"Belintersat-1\" satellite was launched into Earth orbit. The spacecraft provides communications and high-speed Internet services to users in Europe and Asia. The satellite communications system operates in the C and Ku bands.
