Video analytics based on artificial intelligence from NtechLab has been launched in Rostov-on-Don. The FindFace Multi system is integrated into the "Safe City" complex and will help law enforcement agencies search for criminals and missing people, including children, using CCTV cameras.
The neural network analyzes images from more than 250 video cameras installed on the main streets, squares, and parks of the city. The recognition accuracy exceeds 99.9%, which allows for quickly finding those wanted by the police or relatives.
Last year, we worked with the Rostov region on developing and implementing modern AI technologies in the region, including in the field of law enforcement. The implementation of video analytics in the region's security perimeter will help law enforcement officers in Rostov-on-Don to find criminals faster, as well as missing people, including children.
The head of the regional Ministry of Digital Development, Alexey Kopytov, noted that the system has already performed well since its launch. There are plans to extend its operation to other cities in the Rostov region.
Similar NtechLab solutions are already being used in the Krasnodar Territory, the Samara Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Kabardino-Balkaria. In 2025, they helped find more than 130 lost children in Novosibirsk.
