Certificate for hydraulic dampers for the HSR train EVS360 received PAAZ

Domestic components will ensure comfort and durability at speeds up to 360 km/h

Pervouralsk Automotive Aggregates Plant (PAAZ) from the Sverdlovsk region has received a certificate for the serial production of hydraulic dampers for the high-speed train EVS360, intended for the HSR Moscow – St. Petersburg. The products comply with the requirements of TR TS 002/2011, the document is valid for five years — until December 2030.

Dampers are mounted on the train's bogies to dampen body vibrations, which increases passenger comfort and extends the service life of the structure at speeds up to 360 km/h. The certificate covers several models according to five sets of design documentation. PAAZ reported that the installation series will provide all HSR trains planned for production until 2029. The first batch of 204 dampers has already been shipped to the customer.

Production was mastered from scratch at the company's own facilities, since similar products had not been previously produced in Russia, and there were no ready-made technologies. The dampers were created using robotic welding and automated painting, and tests were carried out in our own laboratory.

Prototypes of eight-car EVS360 trains are currently being assembled at the "Ural Locomotives" plant (part of "Sinara – Transport Machines"). On February 12, the bodies of the first cars were presented. The "Russian Electric Motors" plant is awaiting a certificate for the serial production of traction asynchronous motors.
