The redeployment of Su-57 fighter jets to Far Eastern airfields is proceeding in line with a planned renewal of the aircraft fleet. The Aerospace Forces (VKS) are preparing flight personnel for the intensive spring-summer period, said Major General of Aviation Sergey Lipovoy.
According to him, in parallel the military will carry out additional tasks that are not usually spoken about aloud.
Our Aerospace Forces are engaged in combat training according to plan. There is no need to see anything special here that could alarm either us or our neighbors.
Earlier, American media claimed that the Su-57 had been moved to the remote Dzyomgi airfield in Khabarovsk Krai, 280 kilometers from the border with Manchuria. OSINT analysts spotted in satellite images as many as 15 Su-57s parked in the open, as well as 18 Su-35S, 3 MiG-31BM, and 2 Mi-8 helicopters.
