Attackers also use the selection of probable combinations. In this case, databases of popular passwords, names, dates of birth, pet names and simple combinations such as qwerty or "123456" are used.

If the password is related to your personal information, it is vulnerable. Reliable protection is unique, illogical combinations of characters that are not related to your biography.

Phishing is no less dangerous. The password is not cracked, but the victim voluntarily enters it on a fake website that copies the design of the official resource. To avoid this, you need to check the page address and not follow suspicious links.

Another threat is data breaches. If the same password is used on several services, hacking one resource automatically opens access to others. The department reminded that passwords should not be repeated, and important services should be additionally protected by two-factor authentication.
