A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet, consisting of the corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" (Project 20380), set off on a long voyage to perform tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). This was reported by the fleet's press service.
The medium sea tanker "Pechenga" (Project 160 "Dubna") accompanies the corvettes. Their crews will take part in exercises and make business calls at the ports of friendly countries, the fleet's press service added.
When leaving the base point in the Sea of Japan, "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" repelled attacks from the air and hit naval drones of a mock enemy. In the Peter the Great Bay, the sailors practiced anti-submarine tasks. The crew of the Ka-27 shipborne helicopter was also involved in the maneuvers.
