The Altaylesmash plant demonstrated the SEM-4 mobile power unit, built on the TL-5ALM tracked chassis. The multi-purpose machine is designed to perform a wide range of tasks, including the construction and maintenance of pipelines for various purposes, which makes it indispensable in the oil and gas and energy industries.
SEM-4 stands out for its versatility: the basic platform allows you to install a variety of equipment, adapting the equipment to specific needs. The standard equipment includes a welding module for quick connections, a crane-manipulator for lifting cargo, a hydraulic winch for traction operations, a powerful diesel generator providing autonomous power, as well as a KUNG (unified zero-size body) for accommodating personnel and tools. Thanks to the TL-5ALM tracked chassis, the machine confidently overcomes difficult areas - swampy terrain, snow drifts or uneven terrain, where wheeled vehicles are powerless.
According to the manufacturer, the SEM-4 is equipped with an engine with a capacity of up to 240 hp, which allows it to reach speeds of up to 11 km/h and carry a payload of up to 7 tons.
In addition to the energy sector, SEM-4 is used in logging - with a logging arch for skidding wood - and even in fire fighting operations, where it is equipped with equipment for extinguishing forest fires.
