Armed with "Onyx" and "Zircon" frigates "Admiral Kasatonov" conducted artillery firing in the Barents Sea

In the harsh conditions of the northern latitudes, the crew of the Northern Fleet frigate "Admiral Kasatonov" successfully conducted a series of training artillery firings. The exercises took place in the Barents Sea, where sailors practiced hitting ground targets at a distance of over 12 kilometers, neutralizing naval drones, and repelling air threats. The training took into account the accumulated experience of modern naval operations.

"Admiral Kasatonov"

The frigate of project 22350, equipped with high-precision artillery systems, demonstrated effectiveness in multi-level scenarios. The firing included the use of onboard guns to simulate real combat missions, such as the destruction of unmanned vehicles on the water and protection against air attacks.

"Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov" is a Russian multipurpose frigate of the 1st rank with guided missile weapons of the far sea and ocean zone of project 22350.
