A Story Continues: Rostr Plant Resumes Construction of the Soligorsk Trawler

The Rostr shipyard in Novaya Ladoga has resumed construction of the Soligorsk marine trawler after a long hiatus. The vessel of project GM 3.02 for the company Murmanfishproducts was laid down back in December 2020 and launched in October 2023. Since then, nothing has been heard about the fate of the trawler.

I would like to complete the construction of our long-suffering trawler, we conceived it as quite promising for the Barents Sea. The trawler is small, but in demand, it should provide coastal fish factories with raw materials.

The Soligorsk trawler is designed for industrial fishing of demersal fish species with subsequent processing and freezing of the catch. It is capable of operating in various navigation areas and has the class KM⍟ Ice2 (Hull, Machinery) AUT1 Fishing vessel. The vessel can be operated at water temperatures from -3 to +25°C.
