In August 2025, the first Lastochka electric train with the third level of automation was launched on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). From 2026 to 2029, it is planned to introduce 139 such unmanned trains.
At this stage, the driver remains in the cab, monitors the movement and can intervene in the control at any time. Fully unmanned trains will appear later - after 2029.
