Rostec: Americans are implementing Russian designs in Abrams tanks

Engineers in the USA copied all-aspect dynamic protection for a combat vehicle

American manufacturers are implementing Russian designs in Abrams tanks to protect the hull of combat vehicles. This was stated by Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec Armaments Cluster.

According to him, Western colleagues "are taking our ideas" and integrating them into their equipment. In particular, we are talking about all-aspect dynamic protection and means to reduce the tank's visibility.

They are also looking towards reducing the combat weight of tanks to give them greater dynamism on the battlefield.

The top manager of the state corporation expressed confidence that the Americans will adopt other technical solutions as well.

Ozdoev recalled that the entire history of tank construction is an evolution of technology. For example, in the early 20th century, the British Mark I was called a "breakthrough in engineering thought." Later, the Soviet T-34 appeared, which posed a major threat to Western tanks.
