The Kalashnikov Concern will present a wide range of products at the defense exhibition in Saudi Arabia. However, it is worth highlighting the AK-15 series assault rifles in 7.62 mm caliber, said Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the concern.
In general, the 7.62 caliber is very popular in the Middle East and Africa.
According to him, representatives of the Russian security forces use the shortened AK-15K and the small-sized AK-15SK abroad. Compact assault rifles are used to perform combat missions in regions with humid and hot climates. Lushnikov expressed hope that countries with similar climatic conditions would be interested in the weapons.
Clothing for hot climates will also be presented at the exhibition in Saudi Arabia, the CEO of Kalashnikov noted. It was developed by Triada-TKO. In particular, this includes fire-resistant, moisture-wicking underwear, a light combat shirt, jacket and trousers.
