Many states are showing interest in purchasing Russian Su-35 multi-role fighters. This was stated by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) during the World Defense Show-2026 exhibition in Riyadh, reports «Interfax».
Many partners, including those from the Middle East, are showing interest in the Su-35 aircraft, which has confirmed its high tactical and technical characteristics.
At the same time, the FSMTC emphasized that it is premature to discuss specific agreements, given the sensitivity of this topic for partners.
Su-35 — deeply modernized super-maneuverable fighter of the «4++» generation. According to the Sukhoi company, the machine uses fifth-generation technologies that provide superiority over analogues. The first foreign customer of these aircraft in 2015 was China.
Earlier it was reported that Su-35 fighters with the identification marks of the Algerian Air Force were spotted in the sky of the North African country after the purchase of these aircraft from Russia. Algeria became the second foreign partner to order Su-35 fighters after China.
