Production of "Okean" deep-sea robots to be launched in June 2027

The devices are capable of operating at water temperatures from -2 to +32°C

Remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) under the brand "Okean", which have no analogues in Russia, together with a deep-sea immersion device, will be mass-produced in June 2027. This was announced by Anton Merkulov, Deputy Head of the Department for the Development of Marine Robotic Systems at the "Russian Marine Team" company.

With a pace of 8-12 months per complex, we will be ready to produce them. All production: metalworking, assembly of radio-electronic equipment, testing, hydraulic section, all this is localized with us.

The new equipment is designed for underwater technical work on large infrastructure projects and search operations. Production will be established in the city of Lomonosov in cooperation with the company "Fertoing".

The device is capable of operating in any latitude in the temperature range of water from -2 to +32°C. The production of parts for the device is 80% localized in Russia. In the future, it is planned to increase the share of original components to 90-95%.
