The cost of the newest Sarma MLRS has been disclosed

One launcher costs 155 million rubles

One launcher of the newest multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), the Sarma, costs 155 million rubles. This was reported on air by the Perm TV channel Rifey-Perm.

The Sarma was first shown in September 2025 at the Motovilikhinskiye Zavody site. After that, the Russian Ministry of Defence ordered two divisions — 12 launchers and 12 transport-loader vehicles.

Each launcher costs about 155 million rubles, and the loading vehicle costs 64 million rubles.

The broadcast clarified that this price is lower than that of many comparable systems, which makes it possible to ramp up production quickly. The system has already proven itself well in real combat conditions.

The Sarma MLRS was built on the highly mobile KamAZ-63501 chassis and equipped with six guide tubes for the use of 300 mm ammunition. Engineers also reinforced the cabin and increased the level of ballistic protection against fragments and shrapnel.

One of the key features of the new combat vehicle is high mobility, Rostec said. The Sarma is capable of taking up a firing position in just 3 minutes and leaving it in the same amount of time.
