VympelKom (the bilain brand) announced the release of a new free service for its subscribers. Users of the mobile app can check whether they have visited sites with potential threats.
The check is performed at the network level, so bilain subscribers do not need to install additional programs. The user only needs to press the "Scan" button, after which traffic from the last 30 days is analyzed. The data is matched against cyber threat databases. The results are displayed as a traffic light system: green signal — no threats, yellow — reason for caution, red — high probability of infection.
Marina Titova, Director of the Consumer Business Department at Kaspersky Lab, emphasized that the new scanner has become a convenient tool for early diagnosis that helps users gain a deeper awareness of digital risks.
