The crew of the small missile ship (MRK) " рассвет" of the Kola Flotilla of heterogeneous forces of the Northern Fleet conducted comprehensive artillery exercises at the sea ranges of the Barents Sea. During the maneuvers, the sailors practiced scenarios for countering modern threats, including attacks by unmanned marine vehicles and air attack weapons.
The combat crews of the ship carried out firing from two artillery systems: the universal 76-mm AK-176 installation and the six-barreled 30-mm AK-630 close-range anti-aircraft artillery installation. The exercises included the destruction of marine targets simulating both a traditional surface ship of the enemy and a small-sized unmanned boat capable of carrying out high-speed attacks. At the same time, the crew repelled a conditional air raid and destroyed a small-sized air target approaching the ship at an extremely low altitude.
" рассвет" is a small missile ship of Project 1234.1 of the Northern Fleet of Russia.
