The first train in Russia with unique eight-axle Ural gondola cars departed from Linevo station in the Novosibirsk region to Smolyaninovo station in the Primorsky Territory. The train was loaded with coal. This was reported by the press service of Uralvagonzavod (UVZ).
It is symbolic that the Urals began their work in the year of the 90th anniversary of Uralvagonzavod. This is a landmark moment for domestic wagon building.
Model 12-5991 gondola cars have no analogues in the country. They will ensure an increase in the carrying capacity of railways. The carrying capacity of one wagon is 151 tons, and the total body volume is 176 cubic meters.
One of the achievements of UVZ was a new coupling device, which makes it possible to reduce the length of wagons and increase their number in the train. The service life of the gondola car is 32 years.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod released another batch of freight cars for large operators.
