Su-30 and MiG-29 fighter jets took part in an air parade marking the 77th Republic Day of India. Aircraft of the republic's Air Force carried out demonstration flypasts over the capital, New Delhi.
The United Aircraft Corporation noted that the participation of the fighter jets in the celebrations underscored the strategic partnership between Russia and India.
It is worth recalling that the Su-30MKI and MiG-29 form the backbone of India's fighter aviation; they are actively used in combat training and educational programs.
The country operates dozens of Russian-made aircraft, including licensed versions of the Su-30MKI.
The Wings India 2026 exhibition will be held in the city of Hyderabad from January 28 to 31, where the import-substituted SJ-10 and Il-114-300 will be showcased.
Earlier this month, it became known that the Il-114-300 completed the basic certification program.
