MiGs and Sukhois Soar in New Delhi Skies: A Signal Before Wings India 2026

UAC Names Fighters a Symbol of Russian-Indian Partnership

Su-30 and MiG-29 fighters participated in the air parade in honor of the 77th Republic Day of India. Aircraft of the Republic's Air Force performed demonstration flights over the capital, New Delhi.

The United Aircraft Corporation noted that the participation of fighters in the celebrations emphasized the strategic partnership between Russia and India.

As a reminder, the Su-30MKI and MiG-29 are the backbone of the Indian fighter aviation, and they are actively used in combat training and educational programs.

Dozens of Russian-made aircraft are operated in the country, including licensed versions of the Su-30MKI.

The Wings India 2026 exhibition will be held in Hyderabad from January 28 to 31, where import-substituted SJ-10 and Il-114-300 will be shown.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Il-114-300 completed the basic program as part of certification.
