Dmitry Kamenshchik is the former beneficiary of Domodedovo Airport, filed a complaint with the Supreme Court of Russia against the decision of a lower court, which rejected his request to cancel the transfer of the airport to state ownership. The complaint was registered on January 23.
On June 17, 2025, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region fully satisfied the requirements of the Prosecutor General's Office to transfer the assets of the group of companies managing Domodedovo to state ownership. Security officials claimed that Kamenshchik and his business partner Valery Kogan, being residents of other countries, violated Russian law by managing the assets of a strategic enterprise and transferring profits abroad.
Later, the airport was put up for auction, which did not take place. They are expected to be repeated on January 29 in the format of a Dutch auction. The initial cost of the group of companies that manages the air harbor was just over 132 billion rubles.
Representatives of Sheremetyevo Airport stated that they are ready to participate in the competition for the sale of assets if the price is reduced. Businessman Oleg Deripaska expressed the opinion that the real value of Domodedovo is about 40 billion rubles, and not the declared 130 billion.
