JSC "NII Stali" (part of the Kalashnikov Concern) is modernizing its production capacity in order to increase output under state contracts by 4 times. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The enterprise will receive new high-performance machine tools and equipment, which will reduce the share of manual labor.
The following equipment is involved:
- crank presses
- uncoiling lines
- grinding machines for edge finishing
- surface grinding machine for repair of stamping tooling
- overhead crane
- progressive dies
In addition, specialists at JSC "NII Stali" received an automatic surface preparation line using washing and phosphating of parts and powder coating application. The main equipment will be put into operation by the end of February. The enterprise will reach its design capacity in Q1 2026.
