Computer game enthusiasts, thanks to their skills, are excellent at controlling drones. This opinion was expressed by the Deputy Commander of the 71st Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment (BPS) of the Moscow Military District, Pavel Porokhonyko, during the training of military personnel at the Sergeytsevo training ground.
The most experienced pilots come from such cadets.
According to him, gaming skills will be useful for drone operators in the future. Porokhonyko is confident that, thanks to the development of unmanned systems, military personnel will be able to find work in the civilian sector.
Exercises on the use of Boomerang reconnaissance drones took place at the Sergeytsevo training ground. The soldiers searched for conditional targets, and after detection, transmitted their coordinates to the calculations of the Molniya strike drones. They were tasked with destroying objects simulating enemy equipment and basing points.
