A corporate dispute is flaring up around the Volga-Dnepr group, which may affect the transfer of Boeing aircraft to Aeroflot. The heirs of one of the co-owners of the Atran cargo airline intend to challenge its sale to EAS Group structures, Kommersant reported.
We are talking about the share of Roman Droviannikov, who owned 33% of Atran, an airline that is part of the Volga-Dnepr group. After his death in May 2025, the share was transferred to the company itself, but financial issues with the heirs were never resolved. Now they are demanding a fair assessment of the asset and are preparing for litigation.
The lawsuit will be considered by the Arbitration Court of Moscow. The meeting is scheduled for March 25, 2026. Sources of the publication suggested that in the future, the heirs will try to question the deal to transfer Boeing aircraft to Aeroflot's fleet.
At the end of 2025, Evgeny Solodilov's EAS Group, the former head of Zhukovsky Airport and Red Wings airline, acquired the management company Volga-Dnepr-Moscow, AirBridgeCargo, Volga-Dnepr Technics and 67% of Atran. The remaining 33% formally remained with the company itself.
