The auction for the sale of Domodedovo Airport, scheduled for January 20, 2026, did not take place. This is evidenced by the data from the GIS "Torgi" platform.
The only application was submitted by an individual entrepreneur, Evgeny Bogaty. However, it was rejected because the applicant did not provide all the necessary documents. The starting price of the privatization auction was 132.3 billion rubles.
According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, an auction is considered invalid if no applications for participation were submitted or none of the applicants were recognized as participants.
At the end of December 2025, the head of the Ministry of Finance, Anton Siluanov, noted that there is interest from investors in the nationalized Domodedovo Airport.
The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region transferred the air harbor to the state revenue in the summer of 2025. A few days ago, the airport was unexpectedly put up for sale on Avito.
