In 2025, Russian shipyards delivered 129 civilian vessels to customers. This was reported by a representative of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
According to the ministry, shipbuilders delivered 131 vessels in 2024. This indicates that the overall production volume at domestic shipyards remains at a stable level.
In 2025, customers received various types of vessels (passenger, cargo, fishing vessels, and technical fleet vessels). The final results of the industry's performance will be summed up in the first quarter of 2026.
It is worth noting that United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) plans to modernize "Severnaya Verf." The enterprise's upgrade may be completed by 2030.
Earlier, OSK also announced plans to build more than 1,600 vessels in Russia over 9 years. Among them will be bulk carriers, tankers, icebreakers, passenger vessels, and research vessels.
