Manufacturer of Buyanov and Karakurt Ships Reveals Plans for Warship Production

Ak Bars Plans to Deliver Nine Civilian and Military Ships in 2026

In 2026, the Ak Bars shipbuilding corporation plans to deliver nine units of marine equipment. This was announced by the general director of the company, Renat Mistakhov.

He specified that about 70% of the facilities planned for delivery are civilian vessels. Mistakhov emphasized that the company is focused on developing this type of product.

Earlier, Mistakhov reported that at the end of 2025, the company handed over seven ships and vessels.

The Ak Bars corporation includes JSC "Zelenodolsk Plant named after A. M. Gorky" — one of the largest and strategically important shipbuilding enterprises in Russia. The shipyard has built over 1.5 thousand ships, including about 600 military ones.

The company's most famous ships are small missile ships of project 21631 Buyan-M with Kalibr-NK cruise missiles, as well as missile ships of project 22800 Karakurt with high-precision weapons.
