The new-generation RShP 2.0 rail grinding train received a cab from the 2TE35A

The design replicates the locomotive cab by 92%, reducing costs and speeding up production

The company "STM" presented the cab of the new RShP 2.0 rail grinding train — the first unified module in its product line, developed on the basis of the cab of the 2TE35A mainline locomotive. The solution provides up to 92% design compatibility, laying the foundation for cost reduction and accelerated market introduction of the equipment.

Thanks to this approach, engineers expect a significant reduction in production costs and faster release timelines for new special-purpose equipment.

From the locomotive's base platform, the RShP 2.0 inherited not only advanced technical solutions, but also well-thought-out ergonomics of the driver's workplace: an optimal control console layout, rational space distribution, and a modern interior already proven in operation on mainline locomotives.
