In 2025, the Belarusian military received launchers for the S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM). The republic is systematically updating its air defense units, said the commander of the Air Force, Andrei Lukyanovich.
According to him, great attention is paid to the modernization of equipment and the re-equipment of units.
On the eve of the New Year, we received another batch of Su-30SM2 aircraft. We also received anti-aircraft missile systems, Tor-M2K batteries, received launchers for S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, and new Rosa and Vostok radar stations.
Lukyanovich added that, in aggregate, this allows the troops to perform their assigned tasks in full.
Yan Novikov, General Director of Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation (part of Rostec), noted that the Triumfs have been updated and have acquired capabilitiesuncommon for air defense systems.
As a reminder, in 2025, Russia supplied Belarus withat least six generation 4++ Su-30SM2 fighters. Also, in the troops of the neighboring republic,a complex with the Oreshnik ballistic missile took up combat duty.
