The Scientific Research Center of Automotive Transport (NAMI) has registered a patent for a new version of the taillights for the premium Aurus Komendant SUV. Despite retaining the previous overall configuration of the lighting elements, their internal graphics have undergone noticeable changes.
A public demonstration of the facelifted Komendant version with updated lighting equipment has not yet taken place, so the exact details of the design and technical solutions will become known only after the model's official presentation.
According to available data, the development of the new taillights is being carried out in line with the state import substitution program. A similar transition was previously implemented on the Aurus Senat sedan: whereas before the upgrade the taillights were supplied by an Italian company, after the facelift their production was transferred to a Russian supplier. It is expected that the same will happen with the Komendant — the vehicle will receive localized optics.
