Developers of "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" are creating a loitering munition with a range of over 50 km

Work is also underway on a strike UAV with a jet engine, capable of speeds exceeding 500 km/h

The developers of the fiber-optic FPV drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" have started creating a new loitering munition capable of covering distances of over 50 kilometers. According to the company's chief designer, the new product will be integrated into the existing "ecosystem" of unmanned systems and will be able to interact with the "Knyaz Vandal", including performing the functions of a communication repeater.

As the developers noted, the tactical scenario for the use of the new munition largely repeats the model tested in practice, implemented in the "Lancet" system, but with adaptation to the architecture of its own developments.

In addition, the company is working on several promising projects. In particular, specialists are developing a strike UAV with a jet engine, capable of speeds exceeding 500 km/h. At the same time, the modernization of the "Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg" reconnaissance drone, launched into mass production in 2026, continues.

According to the chief designer, the basic version of "Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg" provides a flight time of over two hours. Modified samples capable of staying in the air for up to 3.5 hours have already been tested. In addition, engineers are working to improve the drone's ability to detect enemy air defense systems and are introducing maneuvering algorithms to evade threats.
