Rostec Showed the Assembly of a High-Power Gas Turbine GTD-110M in a Video

The first Russian serial installation of this class is already generating electricity at the "Udarnaya" TPP in the Krasnodar Territory

Rostec showed the assembly process of the first Russian serial high-power gas turbine GTD-110M, designed to generate electricity at thermal power plants. The turbine is created using modern materials and advanced technologies, including 3D printing, which allows achieving compactness and reduced weight of the unit.

Compared to foreign counterparts, the GTD-110M features high fuel efficiency - the efficiency exceeds 36%, which puts it on par with the best global gas turbine engines. In the United Engine Corporation's product line, this unit is considered a unique development.

The first serial turbine began operating at the "Udarnaya" TPP in the Krasnodar Territory in the fall of 2024 and has already generated almost 3.5 million MWh of electricity. The second unit was delivered to the Novocherkasskaya GRES in the Rostov Region in September.
