Large-scale equipment modernization at MZSh will continue in 2026

Minsk Gear Plant will purchase 50 new machines to increase gear wheel output

Minsk Gear Plant (MZSh) will increase the output of high-precision gear wheels in 2026. The enterprise is undergoing progressive modernization, which is planned to be completed in 2027.

In 2025, the plant received more than 50 units of equipment. Approximately the same number of machines will be purchased in 2026. Some of them are already at various stages of installation and commissioning.

At present, new machines account for 30% of the total number. At the same time, about 30–40% of the product range is manufactured using the new equipment. Thanks to the progressive modernization, we have managed to increase the output of high-precision products.

In 2025, MZSh will improve the gear accuracy class from 9–10 to 5–7, which corresponds to global market trends. This makes it possible to supply Belarusian and Russian agricultural machinery and automotive plants. In the future, MZSh plans to move its entire product line to class 6.

Earlier, it became known that enterprises in Tatarstan would be offered expanded cooperation with Minsk Gear Plant. Among them is the Kazan Aviation Plant, which is responsible for the production of Tu-214 civil aircraft, Tu-160M strategic bombers, and the modernization of the Tu-22M3.
