The reconstruction of the Khandyga oil depot in the Tomponsky district of Yakutia will be completed by the end of 2027. This was reported by the Ministry for Civil Defense and Emergency Management of the Sakha Republic.
As part of the federal program "Far Eastern Concession," the joint-stock company "Sakhaneftegazsbyt" will begin a comprehensive modernization of the Khandyga oil depot. The goal of the project is to improve the safety and reliability of fuel supply in one of the strategically important regions of the republic.
Viktor Lebedev, General Director of "Sakhaneftegazsbyt," noted that the project includes several key tasks. One of them is improving environmental safety.
Infrastructure modernization means modern technologies and materials that minimize risks to the environment. This is our main priority.
According to him, increasing the volume of the tank farm to 94.7 thousand cubic meters and increasing productivity will ensure a stable supply of petroleum products to remote areas.
