A fire control module has been patented in Russia, expanding the combat and operational capabilities of military equipment. The development combines observation, measurement and aiming devices, allows you to control the fire of several types of weapons at once, the patent holder is LLC "VYSOTSPAS".
According to the text of the abstract, the system provides search, detection and identification of targets, preparation of weapons for firing, aiming and engagement of targets by fire from main and auxiliary weapons. The authors note that the module is compatible with artillery guns, machine guns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers and missile launchers.
A key feature of the solution is an additional remote fire control module, made in the form of separate portable casings-covers. Note that they are placed separately, outside the hull of the combat vehicle and its weapons.
The blocks have a dust-, moisture- and shock-proof design, are equipped with autonomous power supply and are designed to work in harsh field conditions.
The remote module is connected to the means of destruction via cables and allows you to control the fire outside the combat vehicle, reducing the risks for the crew.
