The number of Su-30SM2 fighters built in 2025 has been announced

The Russian Aerospace Forces received two aircraft, and another six were sent to Belarus

In 2025, at least eight fourth-generation Su-30SM2 fighters were built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (part of the Yakovlev PJSC of Rostec). This was reported by blogger and military expert Kirill Fedorov.

According to him, at least two aircraft were transferred to the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia, and at least six more units of equipment were sent by the Russian Federation to Belarus.

Fedorov recalled that the only batch of fighters was delivered to the Aerospace Forces on November 21. Belarus received three batches of Su-30SM2 on May 27, August 14 and December 26.

For comparison, in 2024, the Russian Aerospace Forces also received one batch of Su-30SM2. Rostec and the Ministry of Defense did not disclose the exact number of combat aircraft.

It is known that for export Su-30SM2 the range of application has been expanded of aviation weapons - guided and unguided missiles, bombs with UMPC.
